Information
Spire Homes are the leading provider for affordable housing in East Northamptonshire. They provide a number of different housing solutions within the area these being:
General Needs: These are houses for people who do not require support to manage their tenancy or day to day living needs.
Supported Homes: These are homes which are supported by a mobile warden and are fitted with pull cords which are connected to a central office for out of hour’s needs. Tenants are able to live independently in their own homes, but have contact with someone if they require support at any time.
Special Needs Housing: Spire Homes work in partnership with Social Services and other organisations to provide suitable housing with appropriate care and support.

Midland Heart provide affordable rented housing and houses for sale, they also provide care and support. Midland Heart work with families, single people, older people, homeless people, people with mental health issues, people with learning disabilities and young people.

This is a scheme consisting of 15 single bedrooms with shared facilities. Customers are required to complete a risk and needs assessment and affordability assessment before an offer of accommodation can be made. The maximum stay on this scheme is two years. This service is available for people aged 16+.

The team can provide advice on housing related matters such as finding accommodation in the private rented sector, applying to go onto the housing register, homelessness and claiming housing benefit.
Nene Valley Homechoice
This is a scheme where the local authority and housing associations are working in partnership to improve the housing process.
You now have to register and then bid on properties that are the right size for your needs.
